Baby Blanket

A friend was having a baby sometime around September.. I didn't know what would be nice as a gift that won't take too much time to prepare so my husband suggested a simple square baby blanket. Considering we were approaching winter, I thought why not?

I forgot to take proper pictures of the blanket before I gave it to her, that's why I can only present some picture of it being folded. I only use double crochet to build it, nothing special. The size of this blanket is about 40 cm something large to 50 cm wide - almost a square..

I got the yarn from the same Buttinette's surprise package as the yarns for my hooded cowl.
No reference of youtube videos or pattern because this is very simple as mentioned above. The yarn itself is very smooth & warm.
